The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Category Manager this will be a key contributor in driving the success of core product categories on an ANZ and global scale.  You will be responsible for executing category strategies that not only drive sales and improve profit margins but also align seamlessly with the overall category vision.

As a senior category manager, you will play a pivotal role in analysing market trends to optimise product assortment, ensuring offerings remain competitive and relevant.  Your ability to leverage data to inform pricing strategies will be essential in maximising their market potential and promoting products effective.

You will also be responsible to lead various cross- functional projects and initiatives for your categories; including new product launches, product upgrades and promotional campaigns.



The Role
  • Develop and implement category strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
  • Contribute to category budget setting.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to understand consumer preferences
  • Work closely with other internal teams to develop and bring new products to market.
  • Drive sales and margin through competitive and data-driven catalogue pricing, collaborating with retail and marketing teams for effective product promotion.

About You
  • Proven experience in Category, Sales, Product or Trade Marketing.
  • Degree qualification in Sales, Marketing or a related Business discipline would be highly valued.
  • Proven strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to develop and execute successful product strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships cross functionally across the business
  • Experience in furniture or homeware industry would be highly regarded
